Scientists agree that the next 10 to 15 years will be decisive in counteracting climate change, and that this transition will take time <\/span><span title=\", du \u00e0 l'inertie de notre syst\u00e8me industriel et aussi du climat lui-m\u00eame.\">, Due to the inertia of our industrial system and also the climate itself. <\/span><span title=\"Pourquoi perdre encore des ann\u00e9es d\u00e9cisives ?\">Why lose decisive years yet?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\">Equally serious is the deliberate &#8220;forgetting&#8221; of two issues, carried out by civil society organizations, in particular:<span class=\"\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>T<span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\">he abandonment of the carbon tax hypothesis, which would give a unit of measure to the transition to be carried out<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\">The deafening silence on the contradiction between the abundance of proven reserves of fossil fuels and those that the international community should be limited to extracting to fulfill the commitments of States. The surplus is about 5 times the amount tolerable by the current climate system. <span class=\"\">In this perspective, the proposal to &#8220;leave fossil fuels in the ground&#8221; for 80% of their volume follows an implacable logic &#8230; but was ignored by the negotiators.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>So?<\/h2>\n<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"Faut-il par cons\u00e9quent clamer que l'accord Paris-Climat est une &quot;arnaque&quot;, comme le dit James Hansen*, premier scientifique \u00e0 avoir attir\u00e9 l'attention du monde politique sur le r\u00e9chauffement climatique en 1988 ?\">Is it necessary, therefore, to claim that the Paris-Climat agreement is a &#8220;scam&#8221;, as James Hansen *, the first scientist to have drawn the attention of the political world on global warming in 1988, said? <\/span><span title=\"On pourra toujours lire le texte de l'accord pour se faire une id\u00e9e plus pr\u00e9cise de ce qu'il contient. \">You can always read <a href=\"http:\/\/unfccc.int\/files\/essential_background\/convention\/application\/pdf\/english_paris_agreement.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the text of the agreement<\/a> to get a better idea of \u200b\u200bwhat it contains.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Les deux positions \u00e9voqu\u00e9es sont \u00e9galement d\u00e9fendables.\">The two positions mentioned are both arguable. <\/span><span title=\"L'important n'est-il pas de comprendre la port\u00e9e et les limites des engagements des \u00c9tats dans le cadre de l'accord Paris Climat, et de demander que les engagements soient d\u00e8s aujourd'hui suivis d'actes ?\">Is it not important to understand the scope and limits of the commitments made by States under the Paris Climate Agreement and to demand that commitments be followed today by acts?
